Clay County’s new 911 Communications Center is nearing completion, with the final phases of advanced technology installations currently underway. Officials anticipate that 911 operations will be fully transitioned to the state-of-the-art facility before the end of December.

The new center, designed and constructed entirely through grant funding and 911-specific funding sources, promises to enhance emergency response capabilities with cutting-edge technology. This investment ensures that Clay County’s emergency communication services remain reliable and effective for years to come.

The success of this project is attributed to the efforts of the Clay County Board of Commissioners, County Manager Debbie Mauney, and everyone involved in bringing the new building to life.

With the new center’s imminent launch, Clay County residents can look forward to improved efficiency and functionality in emergency response operations. Stay tuned for updates as the transition process unfolds.
