Towns County 12U Softball Team Shines, Heads to District and State Tournaments

The Towns County Recreation Department’s 12U softball team is making waves this season, securing an impressive second-place finish at the Mountain Athletic Conference (MAC) tournament last weekend. The young athletes showcased their skill and determination in the north Georgia mountains, where the MAC serves 11 county parks and youth sports associations.

Following their strong performance, the team is gearing up for a district tournament doubleheader on Thursday, June 5, 2025, hosted by the Towns County Recreation Department.
