Towns County Schools Offers Free Breakfast and Lunch for Students

TOWNS COUNTY, Ga. — Towns County Schools will provide free breakfast and lunch to all students for the 2025-2026 school year, officials announced Wednesday. The meals are covered under the Community Eligibility Provision, ensuring no cost for standard breakfast and lunch options.

A la carte items and extras, however, will require separate payment, with prices ranging from $0.50 to $1.75. Extra full meals are priced at $2.50 for breakfast and $5.00 for adult lunch. Students are not allowed to charge these additional items. Outstanding charges from the previous school year must also be settled and are not covered by the provision.
