Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

Alicia Jayne Fullmer age 50 of Warne was arrested on Saturday (12/17/22) after an early morning traffic stop yielded 26 grams of Methamphetamine.


Fullmer was a passenger in the vehicle which was stopped on West Gumlog Road after 1:00 a.m.


K-9 Luca gave a positive alert on the vehicle and a small amount of methamphetamine was located within Fullmer’s purse. Upon questioning, Fullmer admitted to having an additional quantity of drugs concealed on her person. Deputies recovered the additional quantity of methamphetamine which Fullmer had hidden in her clothing. The investigation revealed that Fullmer has been involved in the trafficking of methamphetamine into Clay County from the state of Georgia.


She was placed under arrest and charged with Conspiracy to Traffic Methamphetamine, Possession with the intent to manufacture/deliver a controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was presented before the Clay County Magistrate and confined to the Detention Center under a $70,000.00 secured bond.
