BLAIRSVILLE, GA – Union General Hospital has earned a prestigious spot among the top 705 hospitals nationwide, and one of only 16 in Georgia, that patients are most likely to recommend to family and friends, according to a recent ranking by Becker’s Hospital Review.

The recognition is based on data from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, as reported by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).The CMS HCAHPS star ratings, derived from patient surveys conducted between July 2023 and June 2024, evaluate hospitals on 10 key patient experience measures. Union General’s high rating stems from responses to three critical survey questions assessing whether patients would recommend the hospital to others. The data, released on April 30 through CMS’s Provider Data Catalog, highlights Union General’s commitment to exceptional care.
