Despite their best efforts, the Yellow Jackets fell 67-51 in a game marked by turnovers, foul trouble, and strong shooting from the Indians.
The game started on a challenging note for Hayesville as Towns County came out firing, taking a commanding 32-11 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Indians maintained their momentum throughout the first half, extending their advantage to 48-23 by halftime.
Hayesville fought hard in the second half but was unable to overcome the early deficit.
