HHS Wrestling Team Celebrates Stellar 2024-2025 Season at CCS Board Meeting

The 2024-2025 Hayesville High School (HHS) Wrestling Team was honored at this month's CCS Board of Education meeting for an impressive season filled with notable achievements. The team showcased their strength and determination, finishing with a strong overall record of 17-7.
In the Smoky Mountain Conference (SMC), the HHS Wrestling Team secured the Dual Team Runner-Up position, with the women’s team earning 4th place in the Dual Team category. The team also excelled in the SMC Individual Tournament, achieving Runner-Up status, while the women’s team took 3rd place in individual competition. Their success continued as they qualified for the NCHSAA Dual Team Tournament, highlighting their competitive edge.
The men’s and women’s programs together amassed an impressive 225 combined wins, reflecting the depth and talent across both squads. Individual accolades further underscored the team’s excellence. Parker Hughes earned All-Conference honors, while Jameson Daweson, Patrick Denton, Andrew Reynolds, Robert Manning, Rayland Martinez, Maddie Graves, Pyper Ledford, Fara Ammons, and Amelia Manning received All-Conference Honorable Mentions. In the All-WNC category, Masons Ray and Andrew Reynolds were recognized, and both also secured All-State Honorable Mentions, capping off a season of remarkable performances.
The HHS Wrestling Team’s achievements this year demonstrate their dedication and skill, making them a source of pride for the Hayesville community as celebrated at the CCS Board meeting.
